This is an example. Describe your own above and it comes like this too: solo a part, redo one, download them, or edit it in Studio.

Songs made here

Made from these words on this page, each with its stems. Move a level, or press M or S, to hear a part on its own.

How it works

  1. Start from the words in the box. "a short, punchy channel intro with tight drums, a bright synth riff and a clean hit at the end". Change any of them, or pick an idea under the box.
  2. Pick the shape. Tempo, key, length, or a seamless loop. Or leave them on Auto.
  3. Get your track with its stems. Play it, download the mix or the stems, or open it in Studio to change the parts.

A sting people know is you

An intro is a few seconds that tell people which channel they're on. It needs one idea, a riff, a chord, a drum fill, and a clear ending, so your first line starts on silence. Describe the channel and the sound in one go: "a crisp tech channel intro with glitchy drums and a deep bass hit at the end". Ask for "ends on a clean hit" or "a hard stop", and pick a short length.

Set a tempo and cut it to the bar you like. With a fixed BPM the bars are easy to find: at 120 BPM, two bars is four seconds.

An outro for the end screen

The outro sits under your end screen and your sign-off, so it can be looser and calmer: a steady groove with no hard stop until the screen goes. Make it from the same description as the intro, in the same key and tempo, and change only the job: "relaxed, steady, fades out". The two then sound like the opening and closing of one thing.

Branding that lasts

  • A logo reveal: ask for a rise into one big chord, and put the logo on the chord.
  • Series variants: keep the riff's instruments and change the mood word for each series on the channel.
  • A quieter version: mute the drums from the five stems (drums, bass, guitar, keys and other) for videos that open softly.
  • Podcasts: a show's intro, bed and outro are on podcast intro music.

Questions

How long should a channel intro be?

As short as it can be and still be recognisable, usually a few seconds. Viewers skip long intros. Make a short track, then cut it on a bar line so it ends on the beat.

Can I use the same intro on every video forever?

Yes. It's royalty-free for commercial use on every plan, so there's nothing to renew. Keep the WAV of the mix and its stems with your channel files so you can remake an edit of it later.

How do I make the intro and the outro sound like a pair?

Use one description for both and set the same tempo and key. Change only what the piece does: "short, ends on a hit" for the intro, "relaxed, steady" for the outro.

Can I use the music in a commercial game or video?

Yes. Every song is royalty-free on every plan, Free included: use it in commercial games, videos, streams, podcasts and apps.

Can I use it in Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Add https://gen.daydream.live/mcp as a custom connector in Claude, or as a custom MCP server in ChatGPT, or add the Daydream app from ChatGPT's directory, and sign in with your Daydream account. Then describe a song in the chat: it plays there with its stems in their own lanes, and if you ask for new drums it makes that part again with the other four as they are. It spends the same credits as this page, 5 a song. How to add it.
