This is an example. Describe your own above and it comes like this too: solo a part, redo one, download them, or edit it in Studio.

Songs made here

Made from these words on this page, each with its stems. Move a level, or press M or S, to hear a part on its own.

How it works

  1. Start from the words in the box. "a short, bright sonic logo, four rising piano notes into a warm synth chord that rings out". Change any of them, or pick an idea under the box.
  2. Pick the shape. Tempo, key, length, or a seamless loop. Or leave them on Auto.
  3. Get your track with its stems. Play it, download the mix or the stems, or open it in Studio to change the parts.

A few notes people learn

A sonic logo is short: two to five seconds, a handful of notes and one sound people come to know. It plays at the end of an ad, under a logo animation, when an app opens or before a podcast episode. Its strength is repetition, so it has to be simple enough to remember after hearing it a few times.

  • Three to five notes, rising for something hopeful, falling for something calm.
  • One clear instrument for the motif: piano, bells, a plucked synth, a whistle.
  • One final sound that rings out: a warm chord, a chime, a single hit.

One motif, many lengths

A brand needs the same idea at different lengths. Make the short logo first, then describe a 15 or 30 second theme built on the same motif, at the same tempo and in the same key, so the long version ends where the logo begins. Use the theme under a product video and the logo at the very end.

Every track comes as five stems (drums, bass, guitar, keys and other). Keep only the keys for a quiet notification sound, or the full mix for the end of an ad.

Make several, pick one

A sonic logo is picked, not written once. Make ten variations of the same idea, with different instruments, a rising or falling motif, faster or slower, and play them to your team. Five songs a month are free, then 5¢ a song, and every track is royalty-free for commercial use. For anything beyond that, such as registering a sound as a trademark, read daydream.live/terms and ask your lawyer.

Questions

Where should a sonic logo play?

Wherever people meet your brand often: the last seconds of every ad and video, an app's opening screen, the start of a podcast, an on-hold message. The more often it plays, the faster people learn it.

How do I keep it from sounding generic?

Name one unusual instrument and a short motif: "three plucked koto notes rising into a soft synth chord". A specific sound is easier to remember than a polished but familiar one.

How short can a sonic logo be?

Two seconds and up. Ask for the length in the words ("a three second audio logo") and keep the idea to a few notes, so it still reads at that length.

Can I use the music in a commercial game or video?

Yes. Every song is royalty-free on every plan, Free included: use it in commercial games, videos, streams, podcasts and apps.

Can I use it in Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Add https://gen.daydream.live/mcp as a custom connector in Claude, or as a custom MCP server in ChatGPT, or add the Daydream app from ChatGPT's directory, and sign in with your Daydream account. Then describe a song in the chat: it plays there with its stems in their own lanes, and if you ask for new drums it makes that part again with the other four as they are. It spends the same credits as this page, 5 a song. How to add it.
