A music generator with stems made with the song

Most stems are split out of a finished mix. Here the song is made as its parts: drums, bass, guitar, keys and other, lined up sample for sample, adding up to the mix exactly. So one part can be made again while the other four stay as they are.

Use a separator if

  • You have a finished recording already and want its parts: a separator is the tool for that.

Make the song with its stems if

  • You're scoring a game and want layers: the drone always on, the drums when the danger's near.
  • You're editing a video and want the drums out under the voice and back for the outro.
  • You want the parts from your own code: the API returns each one as a FLAC link.

Questions

Which parts do I get?

Five: drums, bass, guitar, keys and other, which holds whatever isn't in the first four. Each is its own file, lined up with the mix.

Can I get the stems as WAV?

The page downloads them as WAVs or a zip of all five. Through the API each is a lossless FLAC, the same samples a WAV holds; convert one with ffmpeg if your tool needs WAV.

Can I use the music in a commercial game or video?

Yes. Every song is royalty-free on every plan, Free included: use it in commercial games, videos, streams, podcasts and apps.

Can I use it in Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Add https://gen.daydream.live/mcp as a custom connector in Claude, or as a custom MCP server in ChatGPT, and sign in with your Daydream account. Then describe a song in the chat: it plays there with its stems in their own lanes, and if you ask for new drums it makes that part again with the other four as they are. It uses the same monthly songs as this page. How to add it.

Is there an API?

Yes. Send a description, get the song's MP3 and WAV back. It uses the same monthly songs as the generator; the API docs have examples for curl, JavaScript, Python, Unity and Godot.
