Sci-fi game music
Deep space, a humming station, a neon city in the rain. Describe your future and get synth-led loops for flying, docking, sneaking and fighting.
This is an example. Describe your own above and it comes like this too: solo a part, redo one, download them, or edit it in Studio.

How it works
- Start from the words in the box. "a vast, slow space exploration theme with warm analog synth pads, a pulsing bass and distant bell tones". Change any of them, or pick an idea under the box.
- Pick the shape. Seamless loop is on, for music that repeats without a click. Pick a tempo, a key and a length, or leave them on Auto.
- Get your track with its stems. Play it, download the mix or the stems, or open it in Studio to change the parts.
Pick your future
"Sci-fi" covers very different games, and the music differs as much as the settings. Name the kind you're making.
- Space exploration: warm analog pads, slow pulses, bell tones, a lot of space.
- Space opera: brass and full strings over a synth pulse, a heroic theme.
- Stations and ships: cold drones, hums, soft metallic percussion, sparse piano.
- Cyberpunk: gritty synth bass, crisp electronic drums, a moody arpeggio, rain.
- Alien worlds: warbling synths, hollow percussion, sounds with no obvious source.
A retro future with neon and gated drums is synthwave; see the synthwave music page.
Leave room for the machines
Sci-fi games are loud with sound design: engines, lasers, scanners, interface beeps. Most of those sit high, so build the music low and in the middle. Ask for pads, bass and a sparse lead, and leave out busy high arpeggios in scenes full of weapons fire. In quiet exploration you can let the high synths back in.
From docking to dogfight
Every track comes as five stems (drums, bass, guitar, keys and other). In a space game one theme can follow the ship.
- Cruising: keys and other only, a calm pad.
- Contact: add the bass when something shows on the scanner.
- Combat: bring in the drums.
Keep a sector's cruising and combat music in one key, so the switch happens on a bar line with nothing out of place.
Questions
Can I mix orchestra and synths in one track?
Yes. Name both: "brass and strings over a pulsing analog bass". That mix suits space opera, and the stems let you lean on either side.
What makes music sound alien rather than just electronic?
Ask for sounds that don't settle: warbling pitch, irregular rhythms, hollow or glassy textures, and scales that avoid the usual major and minor.
How do I keep sci-fi music clear of lasers and engine noise?
Ask for pads, bass and a sparse lead, and leave out busy high synths. Weapons and engines live up top, so a track built on low and middle sounds stays clear under them.
Can I use the music in a commercial game or video?
Yes. Every song is royalty-free on every plan, Free included: use it in commercial games, videos, streams, podcasts and apps.
Can I use it in Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Add https://gen.daydream.live/mcp as a custom connector in Claude, or as a custom MCP server in ChatGPT, or add the Daydream app from ChatGPT's directory, and sign in with your Daydream account. Then describe a song in the chat: it plays there with its stems in their own lanes, and if you ask for new drums it makes that part again with the other four as they are. It spends the same credits as this page, 5 a song. How to add it.
